For the second year China staked claim to Ujung Bocur as the training ground for the Chinese Olympic Surf Team from Feb into July. Flat, huge, sun, rain, wind or lightning the team members became regular faces during their 2 to 3 2hr+ long daily training sessions. Each passing month saw the teams confidence increase as they learned to effectively work an often crowded lineup.

After 3 months of dedicated traing an exclusive surf comp was held for the 15 member team over the 6th and 7th of June.
