Big swell at Mandiri Beach Sumatra May 2016

Historically high tides and a 3mtr swell caused havoc on the Sumatran coast in May and early June 2016. Mandiri Beach club 1 was almost washed away and many local businesses were washed out or destroyed.

On this day a few crazies tried unsuccesfully to get pulled out in the rips to surf some massive and clean peaks.
