Ngambur Beach surf break South Sumatra

General surf information
Ngambur Beach consists of a number of left and right peaks that break over sand and reef. Their quality is dependent on the build up of sand which changes day to day. The crowds are usually small or non-existent as it's a long way to go for such a fickle setup. You have to hit this break in the early morning before the onshore wind arrives.
Crocodiles are not uncommon in Sumatra and have been spotted at this beach so check the beach and stay away from the river mouths.
